You can now make, change, or cancel appointments, from home, via the Internet. Using a secure link (requiring a password issued to you by the Surgery), click on the appropriate ‘quick-actions’ button on our ‘home’ page.
Ordering a repeat prescription can be done this way, too, reducing the likelihood of errors.
Currently, you can still request a repeat prescription by email, but this method is due to be phased out over the next few months in favour of the direct link to SystmOne, which is much safer. (More details, here, nearer the time.)
Urgent — ’on-the-day’ — Prescription Requests
Prescriptions that are requested ‘urgently’ and that are completed on the day, will be limited to 7 days supply of medication only, from 1 December.
We regret that, in addition, medications that are normally available ‘over-the-counter’, cannot be supplied urgently by prescription.
