Request a Repeat Prescription

You can request a repeat prescription in the following ways:

Please remember that 2 working days’ notice is required for a repeat prescription request to be processed by the Surgery. It may take longer if your prescriptions automatically go to a chemist.

Request an Acute Prescription

Speak to a receptionist; if you use the ‘repeats box’ please give us as much information about the drug you are requesting.

Acute requests may take a little longer to process because they have to be approved by a doctor.

  • Call us on (01985) 224600 and choose option ‘4’ – Please note that this contact cannot be used for prescription requests.
  • Ask the Practice a question using our Online Form.

Prescription Ordering Direct (POD)

A new and convenient way to order your repeat prescriptions (Available from 1st August 2017)  on 0300 123 6242*

The Prescription Ordering Direct (POD) service is the easy way for you to order your repeat prescription!  All it takes is a simple phone call that you can make from the comfort of your own home – there’s no need to go into your GP practice or pharmacy.  You’ll speak to a trained prescription coordinator who can discuss your needs meaning you’ll only order medication when you need it – saving the NHS money to spend on other important services.
